In June 2019 WHO Director-General Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus visited an Ebola Treatment Centre in the city of Butembo in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) to thank health workers for their bravery and dedication. Ebola treatment and transit centres are operated under the leadership of the DRC Ministry of Health with support from The Alliance for International Medical Action (ALIMA), International Medical Corps (IMC), Medair, Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF), Samaritan's Purse and the World Health Organization (WHO).More information: https://www.who.int/ebola/en/
