The COVID Tracking Project launched by @TheAtlantic collects and publishes data required to understand the COVID-19 outbreak in the U.S., including racial data needed to understand health inequities in the outbreak.Atlantic Monthly journalists Alexis Madrigal and Erin Kissane join JAMA's Q&A series to describe the project and their experience developing a database for fact-based health reporting on the pandemic.
